meetings for anyone interested in learning more about or joining UMC of
Vista will be offered on three Sundays—April 19, 26 and May 3 at 3:00 pm in
the Fellowship Hall. Those who decide to join will do so at the service of
their choice on May 17. Pastor George and the Membership/Congregational Care
Committee will lead these sessions and refreshments will be served. Please
check “wish to join” on your Sunday registration card if you plan to attend.
Please notify us if you plan to bring your children so that we can plan
activities for them. Items covered in the class will be God, Christianity,
spirituality, Methodist history and beliefs, baptism, and prayer. Local
church history, activities, mission, leadership and where you can fit in
will be addressed. If you have any questions about any of these subjects
feel free to ask Pastor George and Sue Goode about them.
