Sierra Service Project

Ready for an exciting, life-changing challenge?  Spend two weeks with other mature teens and young adults learning about service, poverty and community in
Navajo Nation - Northeastern Arizona: We hope to be based in the community of Teec Nos Pos in the extreme northeastern corner of Arizona. SSP groups have experienced a rich cultural and service experience in the communities we have worked in on the Navajo Nation in the past.  Teec is located over 5,000 feet so expect days in the upper 80’s and 90’s with nights cooling off significantly. If we can’t find suitable housing arrangements in Teec Nos Pos, we will base ourselves in one of the neighboring communities!  You'll work hard, make deep friendships and experience the incredible warmth and hospitality of our hosts.  Let Rick Lee or Jim McGlocklin know if you are interested, call (760) 726-0442 or email Church office with your Name, phone number, address, and parents name, must be in 9th grade this year through 12th grade.
