I have been a member of this church for 9 years as a child I attended Sunday school here occasionally in Martha Gordon’s class until I started showing horses and spent my Sundays in the show ring.  I have lived in Vista, in the same house since 1965; my parents bought the house next door in the mid 1980’s.  I became a Radiologic Technologist in 1980, specializing in Computed Tomography, Special procedures and the Cardiac Cath lab, and have worked in most of the hospitals in San Diego County.  I met my husband Scot at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla.  Scot grew up in Pacific Beach.  We were married in 1997.  After our daughter Brice was born we decided that it was time to go back to church.  I feel as though we came home. 

  I began teaching Sunday school by helping at the preschool level and graduated to the Kindergarten to second grade class along with Brice in 2003.  I have always felt that our children should have a great time at church and know that they are in a friendly and safe environment.  Along the way they will learn the many lessons we have to teach to them and we will learn and grow through them.  Make it fun and we’ll all grow together.  A little over 2 years ago I was given the opportunity to be more involved with Children’s Christian Education as Co-Director of Family Ministries.  I have a lot of ideas and hope that everyone will join with me in making our children’s programs greater and bigger than ever.  I look forward to watching our children grow not only in size but also in faith...
