Scriptures & Thoughts ...

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
John 8:12

www.gaychurch.org is a web site dedicated to ministering to the gay and lesbian Christian community (GLBT) and to the friends of our community. The site features one of the largest gay Christian bulletin boards and gay "welcoming" Christian church directories in the world.  The site includes a large section of articles dedicated to helping a gay person reconcile their faith with their sexual orientation and a web magazine with articles on a wide range of subjects. Articles and features are offered in English as well as Spanish. In addition there is an online art gallery which meditatively focuses on various scriptures in the Bible. Check the site often as new material is added on an almost daily basis.
Trying to keep up with the times... I would like to share my music with you via the internet. Please pray for us. This site is growing into a new ministry sharing my monthly travels and the Good News of God's Love. I hope you enjoy your visit to www.Balmministries.net and let me know what you think at SSBALM@aol.com.

At UMC Vista WWJD? was created to ensure that each person entering is welcomed into a place that is loving and safe for spiritual growth through the teachings of Christ.

Although WWJD? is, indeed, concerned that people within the lesbian and gay community be included, we encourage diversification in general. We stand Hand in hand with all God’s children. WWJD? Strives to develop and implement ways to show that, as United Methodists, we mean it when we say, Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.”

WWJD? is proud to be the host liaison for Our Circle of North County of San Diego.  Our Circle is is a nonprofit youth group whose goal is to provide Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgender, and Questioning youth a safe and positive environment in which to socialize and get to know other teens who are in the same situation in life.

Additional membership in WWJD? is always encouraged. Come Meet with us on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Room 204. For more information or questions, please contact Lynda Mounts or the church office.

Whoever follows Jesus has the "light  of life."  This is the gift that is given freely to ALL who love Christ.  Christ does not limit his followers to those of a specific race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation:  Christ's love is for all; all who love Him will be in the light.
