Rev. Dr. Leigh Ann Shaw comes to us from La Mesa First United Methodist Church, where she has served as Senior Pastor for the past five years. Pastor Shaw received her B.A. from San Diego State and was ordained at the Claremont School of Theology, where she received her Masters of Divinity Degree. Subsequently she earned her doctorate at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Her background also includes serving as an Associate Pastor at both Foothills UMC and Camarillo UMC. In addition, she has also served as Chaplain at Grossmont Hospital.
Dr. Shaw loves the beauty of creation. When she’s not at the church, she might be found listening to all kinds of music, visiting the San Diego Zoo or enjoying her hobby of photography around the county. She is quick to laugh and loves having theological discussions with skeptics, cynics and even contemporary saints.
