At UMC Vista, we have an incredibly talented and unique group of individuals who make worship happen.

Reverend Broghan Hunt

Pastor Broghan previously served First United Methodist Escondido and brings with her a wealth of experience, gifts, talents, and passion for ministry.

Pastor Broghan grew up in the UMC and has had an active career in Camp and Retreat ministries and in our local churches. Her call to ministry comes from being a part of church communities that showed up for one another, offering genuine support and an example of discipleship in the world. Often seen with a cup of coffee, she’s a passionate advocate for guiding people’s faithful steps.

When not discussing matters of faith, she can be found at the gym, strolling through town, or seeking friendly dogs to pet.

Adam Ferrara

Originally from Michigan, Adam Ferrara is an organist, pianist, and composer who has performed across the United States as well as in Ireland and Scotland.

Adam recently became the Director of Music and organist at the United Methodist Church of Vista, is the Principal Collaborative Pianist with the San Diego Children’s Choir, and accompanist and singer with SACRA/PROFANA.

Adam earned his M.M. in Organ Performance from Eastern Michigan University studying under Dr. Michael Burkhardt. He has a B.A. in Piano Performance with a minor in Computer Science from Alma College where he studied under Dr. Raymond Riley.

Adam enjoys photography, Jeeping, mountain biking, electronics, and spending time with his family and dog. In his free time, he continues work on his 5-manual Hauptwerk organ. Adam’s favorite treats are peppermint ice cream, cider donuts, and maple syrup.

Tim and Adam were friends prior to our positions at Vista, share a birthday, and both enjoy Jeeps.
