Godly Play at the United Methodist Church of Vista :
We invite all children ages 4 -12 to participate in our Godly Play Worship every Sunday at 10:00. Where we believe in “Making meaning through story, wonder, and play. Nurturing spiritual lives by honoring the centrality, competency, and capacity of children.”
What to Expect:
If you are interested and it’s your first time attending we make the process smooth and simple. Your child or children will check in with our Godly Play team when they walk into Church. They can join you for the first 10 minutes of worship, and feel free to bring refreshments and fidgets into the space as well, where we will go over our Church announcements and upcoming events. Then your child or children will join our Godly Play team and walk to their Godly Play worship room for the rest of Service.

“To provide opportunity for all to explore the mystery of God’s presence in our lives, to hear God’s invitation for spiritual experience, to listen to what God is saying, and to make authentic and creative responses to God’s call in our lives. We believe that the Godly Play curriculum practices provide that opportunity.”
